In a heavily fierce market, the latest must-have accessory is clearly earbuds to go with your latest smartphone, we all want the best, deep and richest sound to grace our ears with the music we listen to on our phones at an affordable price that won’t bust our bank balance.

Who is 1More?
1More has won many awards for the “ear wear” that they produce and from their latest offerings, it shows! They have a full range of Bluetooth wired, Bluetooth in-ear and over-ear headphones to choose from on their website all at an affordable price, so when I was sent their latest offering the 1More comfoBud Pro I could not wait to plug these into my ears and give them a spin.
Unboxing
So what comes in the box: The earbuds come in a rather nice presentation box, with the earbuds sit in a nice white oval case, they come with a USB-C fast charger cable, a nice little carry pouch and changeable earbud silicon grips for that perfect fit.
Design
First off, if there are those like me, I have struggled with all earbuds in the past to fit in my ears and stay put whilst walking around and these passed that test straight away. They are so unintrusive in your ears you would not know you’re wearing them plus they are really comfortable to wear for a long period of time.
The ComfoBud Pro True Wireless Earbuds have a rich deep 40db of sound, Active Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Earphones with Deep Bass, 5 Adaptive Modes, Fast Charge, 28H Playtime, 6 Mics, In-Ear Detection and come in a lovely Gloss white colour or Black.
Features
The Bluetooth 5.0 range on these earbuds come in at 10 metres from your device, so moving freely around the home may become an issue if you live in a bigger house but even still 10 metres is quite the average with all earbuds on the market today.
The earbuds weigh in 5.2g per bud so these are fairly lightweight whilst the case its self weighs in at 40g. These operate on Bluetooth Version 5.0 and have an IP rating of IPX4 so what does that mean: IPX4: Is resistant to water splashes from any direction.
Pairing these to your phone is an absolute doddle, all you need to do is open Bluetooth settings on your phone, then open the case of the earbuds that reveal a little button long-press that for 3 seconds then the earbuds and linked to your device and as always will stay they as a connected device. All you have to do is lift the earbuds out of the case and they will then auto-connect every time to your chosen device, a very quick, simple and effortless pair. At the bottom of the teardrop-shaped buds, you have 2 LED colour indicators; they will show a red LED when they need charging and a blue LED when paired and connected to your chosen device.
When listening to music the 40db Quitemax ANC is second to none, and I have managed to drown out my wife and the kids even on a low volume listening to podcasts and music. I have a varied taste in music and spent a few hours listening to different genres and these earbuds adapted very well and from the hard-hitting Chemical brothers to the slow tones of Ed Sheeran the earbuds performed excellently and the deep rich bass excellent mid-range and brilliant Trebles excellent for listening to live music, these Comfobud’s really come alive allowing you to have a fantastic user experience with no outside noise interference even on a low volume!
When on a call you would think you were on an HD call with the clarity you get from these buds, they performed excellently on a variety of calls and with the 3 mics all powered noise cancellation when on a busy main road, you can still hear your caller perfectly as if they were in a quiet room sitting next to you!.
These earbuds have the usual features of any other high spec top end earbud with the touch controls on the earbuds, such as double-tap to answer/end call, tap 3 times for voice control, double-tap to play and pause music etc, But the dedication 1More have put into these earbuds don’t stop there and I will explain further why you should buy these earbuds above others.
There is a free to download app from 1More available on IOS & Android that will give you various listening modes such as:
- ANC Strong mode (default)：Noise reduction up to 40dB, perfect for use in airports and subways and other noisy environments.
- ANC Mild mode: Comfortable and pressure-free wearing, suitable for use in cafes and offices
- Wind noise resistance mode：Suppresses the microphone effects caused by wind, enjoy pure sound in windy environments
- Transparency mode: Hear your surroundings clearly with headphones on
- ANC Off： Turn off the ANC function for less power consumption and more playing time.
The battery health of your earbuds is great if you know you have been or will be planning to use these for a long period of time, a 15-minute charge will give you up to 2 hours of playback and a full charge will give you a staggering 28-hour playback. So you will have enough charge to see you through a full flight from London to Australia on one single full charge 🙂 nifty eh!
Verdict
Would I buy these over other manufactures, hell yeah, for the price (£89.99 from Amazon) what you get you will be hard pushed to find better on the market at this price bracket. 1More has all the elements right for these earbuds, comfort, look, style, battery life and nice and lightweight. Sure, there are many other earbuds on the market in this price range BUT 1More are bang on with the ComfoBud Pro’s.
