Male Grooming in the UK is booming with trendy beards to personal hygiene products men have spent over 100 million pounds looking after themselves. So when I got asked if I wanted to review the BALLS trimmer. I become interested to see what all the fuss is about.
What Gadget recently found out that over 60% of men keep themselves tidy in the downstairs area. So when this Blue box arrived I wanted to know more. BALLS is a male grooming trimmer that costs £45 which is quite reasonable compared to the Manscaped Lawn Mower 3.0 for £69.99
Design
The BALLS Trimmer comes with a promise that it will keep your boys safe as they have designed the SackSafe™ technology with a blade designed to glide through the hair without any pulling or cuts. The trimmer is also showerproof meaning you will be able to use it in the shower. Just don’t dunk the shaver underwater as it’s not fully waterproof.
The Shaver can hit speeds of 6000rpm which can handle even the most coarse of hair and it comes wireless which is great when you need to get them hard to reach areas. The battery gives you a good hour of use.
Inside the box, you get the trimmer which is very basic looking with just the power button with the word balls printed on the button as well as the power symbol. The trimmer is black in colour, compact and very lightweight as the trimmer is made of plastic.
Also in the box comes the USB cable with the power adapter, Cleaning blush for the trimmer and two length adapters:
- 1x Size 3-4
- 1x Size 5-6
This means that you can adjust the length you want to cut the hair you’re cutting. I did find fitting the adapter to the trimmer a little troublesome to fit but once on your ready to go.
You can also replace the blade as in time the blade may get blunt. The Balls website offers a subscription for £10 every 3 months you will get a new blade sent.
Performance
The BALLS trimmer is very easy to use once charged, just turn it on and get grooming. As the name suggests the main use is for your balls but you could use this trimmer on other areas such as your legs, chest, back and you could even give your hair and beard trim if your lucky to have been able to grow a beard unlike myself. Now if the lady in your life wanted to use it she could as well if she wanted to tidy up the lady garden.
My first use of this was not perfect. I caught myself and had to clear up quite a bit of blood. However, a few days later I gave it a go in the same area and my lower back and the trimmer worked perfectly. Its does not offer the same clean-cut that a razor might have but it still did a good job even if it still leaves a little stubble.
If you are looking for a male grooming trimmer that will look after your balls. Provide a clean shave and allows you to trim hair of various lengths then go get your hands on some BALLS!
