The OPPO brand has decided to also join other brands like Xiaomi, and Samsung to recently launch a new smartphone which they call Oppo Reno 5K. However, this smartphone is a decent addition to the Oppo Reno series. Interestingly, Oppo Reno 5K comes with Android 11 ColorOS 11.1, and it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC which has also proven to be a gallant processor.
Talking about the display aspect, Oppo Reno 5K carries a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) OLED display. In addition to the display, the device has a 20:9 aspect ratio, 91.7 percent of screen-to-body ratio, and lastly 90Hz refresh rate. Most individuals look forward to having different color options so as to suit their color choice. Oppo also made available three(3) color options for the newly launched Reno 5K.

Of recent, it seems all mid-range smartphone manufacturers fancy the quad rear camera setup. However, Oppo Reno 5K is not an exception, it also features a quad rear camera setup that houses 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.7 lens, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens, 2-megapixel portrait sensor, and also 2-megapixel macro shooter. Whenever you talk about smartphone rear cameras, the next thing that comes to mind is the front as well. The Oppo company endeavored to attach a decent 32-megapixel camera sensor that has a five-piece lens with a field-of-view (FoV) of about 85 degrees. This rugged front camera can be seen at the top-right corner of the display.

Oppo embedded Reno 5K with a durable 4,300mAh in-built battery that can serve you for hours. The attached connectivity options involve Bluetooth v5.1, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, 5G, 4G LTE, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac. While the available sensors include an in-display fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, ambient light, proximity sensor, gyroscope, and magnetometer respectively.
This smartphone is scheduled to go on sale firstly in china on or before March 6 which is in a few day’s time. So all interested individuals who would like to purchase the Oppo Reno 5K should exercise some patience.
