Among the numerous earbuds in the market today, Apple and Samsung’s newest wireless earbuds are being compared in terms of features and usability. We all know Apple is one of the top manufacturers of smartphones and earbuds as well as the Samsung company. These two companies are doing very well in terms of making innovative devices. The Apple AirPods Pro has a price tag higher than the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro and they have almost the same characteristics.
However, the Apple AirPods Pro is a well designed wireless earbuds that have ANC that works seamlessly with iOS and Mac devices. In terms of battery life, Apple AirPods Pro has a longer-lasting battery than the Galaxy Buds Pro. Although the usage time difference is not too noticeable when you use both earbuds. Not like you cannot use the Apple AirPods Pro on Android devices but you wouldn’t get all the features as it will be when you use it on Apple phones.
Whenever you pair the earbud from Apple with an Android device, you would lose the spatial audio and quick switching feature. As for both earbuds, the sound quality is very much balanced though they don’t have a universal equalizer to change the sound via different Apps.
According to reports and feedbacks from users, the Galaxy Buds Pro is the only Samsung’s earbud model to be compared to Apple’s AirPods Pro. However, Galaxy Buds Pro seems to have a strong bass quality when listening to music. Unfortunately, this earbud from Samsung does not work too well with iPhones and other Apple devices.
Interestingly, the Samsung Galaxy has a voice detection which can not be seen in the Apple AirPods Pro. This Voice detection feature automatically reduces the volume of your media when they detect your voice. In addition, it reverses back to the normal sound after 10 seconds when you’ve stopped talking. It is obvious that the Galaxy Buds Pro beats the Apple Airpods Pro in this situation when you want to have a quick conversation or chat with someone.
Furthermore, each of the earbud (Apple and Samsung) can be used independently for calls or listening to music. However, you can also find both of the earbuds on a map using the Find My app on iPhone or the Smart Things app on Galaxy devices whenever you lose them.
Verdict
In conclusion, I would say these earbuds from Apple and Samsung are really good and durable. In terms of usage or purchase, I’d advise users to use these earbuds considering the software, be it iOS or Android. Practically, that is to say, iPhone users = Airpods Pro, and Android users = Galaxy Buds Pro. By choice, I would gladly prefer the Galaxy Buds Pro for listening to music and other few tasking. For multitasking and battery performance, I would give more credits to Airpods Pro.
