Charging cabling is an unnecessary evil that a lot of us have to deal with to charge our phones or charge our wireless headphones and if you are like me who keeps my cables in the kitchen draw but somehow when I come to get that cable from that draw this is what am welcomed with:
It is almost like they tangle up all by themselves and take ages to untangle the cables you want to use. Well, there is a solution to this problem welcome ClickCable who have taken that problem and solved it with a self coil cable with the use of magnets.
Who is ClickCablez?
ClickCablez is the brainchild of two Aerospace engineers who saw a common issue we all have and found a simple but elegant solution to this tech issue we have had for years and do it in a very budget-friendly manner.
What is ClickCablez?
When the ClickCablez arrived my first impression was this is not going to be a good product mainly due to the packaging such a very simple white box with the name of the front. If the guys at ClickCablez want to grab your attention please change that packaging as if I saw this is a shop I would simply ignore this product which would have been a mistake.
Take the coil cable out of the packaging and am impressed they have really considered the design and the quality of the product. The cables come in the following options:
- Lighting Cable to USB-C
- Lighting Cable to USB-A
- USB-C to USB-A
- USB-A to Micro USB
In this review, we have been sent the Lightning Cable to USB-A & USB-C to USB-A cables and they are so very useful they really look smart on my desk and allow me to remove all of my other cables that used to cause a mess.
The ClickCablez come in two different sizes 3ft or 6ft. I would say the 6ft version is better for the home and the 3ft cable is better for being on the road or when you’re next allowed to travel (Remember them days…).
The cable is made using a premium aluminium and hard-wearing silicone cable that allows it to be used and then click back into shape once you’re finished using the cable. The ends of the cable have aluminium wrapped around the tops to offer that extra level of protection. The cables are CE and RoHS certified and offer a 1-year guarantee.
You have 3 lots of 4x neodynium magnets positioned in a triangular formation that helps you coil the cable when not in use and is the USP of the clickcablez.
Would I buy a ClickCablez?
I would buy a ClickCablez 100% it charges my devices to the same speed as my normal charge cable but for those who want to get rid of cables all-around your desk looking messy its such a great idea.
I found these a really good product for charging my phone but also charging my Urbanista Miami Headphones which have a USB-C port and with the clickcablez, I have replaced the charging cable on the carry case to provide that smart-looking cable for storage when I need to charge my headphones.
Prices range from £11.99 to £17.99 depending on the cable you need and the size they are well worth it and solve that issue. Goodbye Kitchen drawers of doom and hello to my nice organised draw with a Clickcablez ready to grab when in need.
