Overall Rating: 4.0 out of 5.0 stars
2020 has brought lots of us online and online gaming has sky rocked with a number of brands offering gaming accessories. Final Audio is no different than the latest product from them is the Final VR3000 gaming headphones.
When you think of gaming headphones you might be thinking of the big over-head headphones with mics connected like the Razer Kraken that I have just bought for my son who is a massive gamer and plays the likes of Fortnite & Call of Duty.
However, some gamers might be looking for an in-ear option and that is where the VR3000 enters the room. It gives gamers another option that sounds great but is a little more affordable compared to the over-head options.
What’s In the box?
Along with the VR3000, you have an assortment of ear tips, pair of ear hooks and storage pouch. Final offers the chance to get the perfect fit with 4 additional sized tips as well as the tips already on the earphones.
Design
The Final VR3000 costs £69.98 which puts these in the budget part of the market. Design wise they have a matte black finish on the body of the VR3000. Speaking of the body it has an angular shape that is perfect for gaming they just look cool. Considering the fit of these earphones they fit really well with the angular outer shell sitting just right in the ear. The tips offer both a comfortable and secure fit which is ideal for long periods of use playing your favorite game. They are also lightweight meaning your ears won’t get fatigued and come with ear hooks that can make sure they stay in the ear for longer.
How are they gaming earphones? Well, the Final VR3000 uses a 6mm dynamic driver that uses a brass housing making it less likely to be affected by magnetic force. They have also a system that aims to improve the time response of the diaphragm. Last but not least they earphones have a remote located halfway down the cable on the right side which houses the microphone and also has 3 control buttons and at the end of the cable you have a 3.5mm jack.
Sound Quality
You can use these to listen to music but the primary use is for gaming. If listening to music the sound is ok. However, the soundstage can seem too wide but the overall sound quality is acceptable.
The VR3000 when using these for gaming offers an immersive experience and offers a crisp and detailed audio experience. When using these to play Call of Duty you can hear explosions in every direction. The sensory experience is at times crowded but mainly organized when listening to my surrounding. The VR3000 are designed with binaural in mind every recording sounded fantastic.
Verdict
The Final VR3000 are a cool looking pair of gaming earphones that fill that budget part of the market but do not feel cheap at all. If you’re into mobile gaming or you want to use these with a console that offers a quality sound profile and improves your overall gaming experience.
