We all have mobile phones and with us, all living busy lives the one thing at risk is the battery life. iPhone uses you know what am saying!
With trade shows starting to happen I found myself using my phone 50% more than normal so having a powerbank charger could be a real game-changer. In this review, we have been testing the Juice 3 charger that costs £19 and is available on Amazon and in retail stores like Argos and Tesco.
Design
Juice are a brand that is into looking after the planet so you will be pleased to know the packaging is 100% recyclable. The Juice 3 powerbank comes in 5 colours :
- Grey
- Aqua
- White
- Black
- Midnight Green
You will notice that currently, only the Grey and Aqua models are available and in this review, we were sent the Aqua version of the powerbank.
As the name might give the game away the Juice 3 offers three full charges. Inside the packaging, you get a small carry bag, Micro USB charging cable and a small instruction manual. My only negative was the charging cable was a little on the short side.
The design of the powerbank is simply built with a USB-A port and Micro-USB ports on the top of the powerbank as well as a LED display which indicated how much battery life is in the powerbank. On the left side, you have a USB-C port and on the right side, you have a power button. Everything is spaced out nicely.
Performance
The Juice 3 is part of the 12345 range of powerbanks with each number indicates the number of charges. On the packaging Juice state that you can go from 0-50% in 50 minutes and this is backed up in testing but if your someone who wanted a wireless powerbank look away now as you will need to use your charging cables with this powerbank.
What I did find useful was the fact you could charge 2 devices at the same time for example when you charge your phone and earbuds at the same time.
The device comes with a 1000mAh battery with 2.4Amp max output to charge your devices. The Juice 3 can charge a mobile phone, tablet or portable audio equipment. The powerbank is nice and lightweight at 193g.
The max output at any time is 2.4A and it does a great job of charging my phone on the run I just find the need for carrying cables a little annoying. When it’s time to charge the Juice 3 it takes about 5 hours to fully charge which seems long but an overnight charge won’t waste time.
Verdict
The Juice 3 is a decent powerbank it’s not something that will weigh you down when travelling around. It’s that powerbank that won’t take much space in your bag. I love the fact it comes with a digital screen to indicate how much battery life is left.
The ability to charge two devices at once is excellent but the fact you need to carry these cables around won’t pull me away from my wireless charger, unfortunately. However, that is just me really I can see this powerbank working for everyone from those who travel to work every day will benefit from this powerbank if they don’t mind carrying a charging cable this powerbank will do the job and is affordable for the wallet.

Mine does not charge in 5 hours more like 7 and the usb won’t go all the way in chesp rubbish
Can I ask what phone you have? Also, are you trying the charge your phone with a case fitted on the phone? I have noticed some cases do not provide much room for the USB port.
