Xiaomi has finally released the long-awaited Redmi K series which comprises the Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro, and Redmi K40 Pro+. The Xiaomi company is doing incredibly well and they are one of the reliable makers of good smartphones at an affordable price tag. With the launch of the Redmi K series, Xiaomi used that opportunity to introduce new laptops like the RedmiBook Pro 14 and RedmiBook Pro 15 models respectively. In addition to the newly released devices from this brand are Redmi AirDots 3 earbuds.
In terms of design, the Redmi K series (Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro, and Redmi K40 Pro+ ) has the same design. Although they have different processors, and that is to say, Redmi K40 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC while, both the Redmi K40 Pro and K40 Pro+ features the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC.
Redmi K Series Camera Setup
Redmi K series runs on pure Android 11 which might be upgradable with MiUI 12. As the Redmi K40, K40 Pro, and K40 Pro+ have the same body design, so do they feature a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) E4 AMOLED display. In terms of ruggedity, Xiaomi endeavored to equip this Redmi K series with smooth double-sided Corning Gorilla Glass protection on both sides (front and back). It will interest you to know all three models has an in-display fingerprint sensor that responds fast.

Redmi K40
As they all have the same design, that applies also to the camera design section. The Redmi K series is embedded with a triple rear camera set up which houses 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 primary sensor, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel tertiary sensor with a macro lens. Impressively, the company attached a 20-megapixel camera sensor at the punch-hole seen on the display. There is a gallant 4,520mAh in-built battery on the Redmi K series that supports a 33W fast charge. In the connectivity department, there are options like Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Infrared (IR), 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, and USB Type-C for charging.

Sadly, the Redmi K series is not available for purchase on e-commerce stores. However, you might be wondering why they are not available for purchase, that is because they are new and were scheduled to be available anytime from the 4th of March 2021. Although, the smartphones are available for pre-order/bookings on the Mi Store.
