Mobile Accessory brand Cygnett sent us the Charge Up companion 10K power bank & Stand and they have created a great idea which is ideal for these who are on the move. Have you been looking for a powerbank that is also a stand look no further. This stand also allows you to use the stand in either portrait or landscape but at the same time being able to charge your phone wirelessly.
The power bank also allows for you to charge 3 additional devices all at once with 2x USB-A and 1x USB-C Port and all offers 18W fast charging. The charge up companion comes in black and weighs 240grams so it’s fairly light for a powerbank. Size-wise it comes in at 145mm (H) x 70mm (W) x 19.9mm (D). The size is about the same as a mobile phone so it’s not an issue being able to pop it in your pocket.
Using this power bank is very easy to use. You can either just place your phone on top of the powerbank and your phone will start charging as long as you have turned the power bank on via the power button on the side and also have a number of LED’s to indicate the amount of power. You also can charge multiple devices via the trio of USB ports at the top of the powerbank and that way will give you 3.8 charges via the cable charging method.
The Power Bank allows you to charge your phone fast. I have been testing this device for the last week and found it can top my phone battery up by 50% in less than 30minutes and that is great when you need that top of fast. The battery is made of Lithium Polymer which allows for that fast charging. If you need a full charge this can powerbank gave me 2 full charges.
The Power Bank allows to charge any device that is Qi-compatible and Cygnett states that most Apple devices from an iPhone 8 up and Samsung Galaxy S8+ to the most recent device. It also allows for you to charge some Google Pixel handsets that are Qi-compatible. The Powerbank also allows you to charge a number of wireless charging friendly devices such as Apple Buds.
What Makes this powerbank stand out is the fact you also get a stand meaning you can safely use the stand portrait or landscape. I very much enjoyed using the chargeup companion when watching SkyGo when I was having a spot of lunch. The stand easily folds up but I did find each of the folds a little fiddly to set up for once you have done it a few times you get used to it.
So if you’re looking for a power bank and stand combo with additional ports to allow for multiple charging this is a very good option for you. At £69.95 it won’t make a dent in the wallet either.
