Intro
Why do you need a Satechi 100W USB-C PD Charger? Well the simplest way to put this is having a capable 3-in-1 plug that can charge 3 devices from just 1 plug point. If you think about the average home, you will have 1 or 2 double socket points, but you have multiple devices that need power and need to be charged up.
This product solves the issue of having to purchase yet another extension cable and also reduces the need for more plugs, simply.
More and more manufacturers (such as smartphone brands) are now shipping devices without power plugs, to reduce carbon footprints, waste and reduce the need for big packaging.
We all have a stash of plugs and cables available to us already, yes, I am referring to my MAN DRAW here. What I don’t have is enough plug points, so this product not only solves that but I have confidence that it will charge anything from a Laptop right down to a desktop light or speaker.

100W Charging Power Delivery products
It is important to know that having a power block that delivers this kind of power, requires compatible cables too. Yes, that’s right, not all USB Type-C cables can actually support up to 100W Power Delivery (PD).

Final Thoughts
Satechi as a brand is solid, their marketing is great too. This power house charger is great, knowing that you can benefit from having up to 100W for three devices or just using it to power your laptop at the full power is awesome. The build is very premium and compliments your devices if you like aesthetics, especially. Some might be deterred by the hefty price tag of £79.99 but honestly, I honestly think for the price you are getting a great product.

Where to buy?
What does GaN mean and why are we seeing this everywhere?
Well, to keep it simple and easy for everyone, it essentially stands for Gallium nitride (GaN). Basically, this is a material being used in place of silicon as it produces less heat, this allows manufacturers to mount components closer together thus meaning your wall charger becomes more powerful, smaller, and portable.
For the average folk, like us…it solves many issues. Such as having the ability to charge multiple devices using just the one power brick (not so brick anymore).
